Bluewater Health is updating its policy for visitors this week.
Beginning Wednesday, a maximum of two visitors are permitted at a patient’s bedside, and no food or drinks are permitted in patient rooms.
All those entering the hospital must sanitize their hands and wear a mask at all times.
There are currently ten COVID-positive patients in hospital, where an outbreak on the Inpatient Medicine Unit was declared over, Tuesday.
“Diligent infection prevention and control measures were key in helping control this outbreak,” a news release noted. “Those coming into the hospital are reminded of the importance of complying with Bluewater Health’s policies to prevent the spread of COVID-19.”
