A recent police sweep of commercial vehicles in Sarnia has produced some unsettling results.
Sarnia Police and Ministry of Transportation personnel inspected 22 commercial vehicles during the Sept. 21 blitz.
Seventeen of the vehicles were taken out of service and seven had their plates seized.
A total of 31 charges were laid for various safety infractions including the condition of the vehicles and paper work violations.
