United Way glass is half full

The United Way has reached the half way mark of its 2014 campaign target of $1.92 million.

“This is a pace we hope to see continue and a fantastic achievement for our community,” said Campaign Chair Richard Kelch. “It is very heartening to see increased participation in workplaces.”

The local United Way has been an umbrella fundraiser for community programs and services for more than 57 years.
