Sarnia Sting teammates Jakob Chychrun and Pavel Zacha could be on opposite benches at the World Junior Hockey Championships in Helsinki, Finland, beginning Boxing Day.
Both have been invited to tryout camps for their respective teams this weekend: Chychrun for Team Canada and Zacha for his native Czech Republic.
At the time of the invitations Zacha led the Sting with 21 points, including 13 goals, in 20 games, while Chychrun had scored four times and added 12 assists in 25 games.
Zacha was chosen by the New Jersey Devils with the sixth overall selection in the NHL draft last summer, and Chychrun is expected to be a very high pick in the draft next June.
