Two men were arrested Wednesday after a search warrant at a Sarnia residence led to the seizure of more than $6,700 worth of cocaine and a replica handgun.
Sarnia Police say officers with the vice unit had been actively investigating suspects at a home in the 200 block of Forsyth Street N., regarding the alleged possession of a firearm.
Around 2 p.m. Wednesday, a search warrant was executed by officers with the vice unit as well as members of the emergency response team.
The search recovered a replica handgun (air pistol) and approximately 56 grams of cocaine, worth a street value of $6,729.
A 64-year-old Sarnia man and 34-year-old Kettle Point man were each charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.
