Time to ‘Stuff the Bus’ on Saturday for local foodbanks

Local residents can buy non-perishable groceries at any of 12 local food stores on Saturday, July 7 and use them to help fill two Sarnia Transit buses. Stuff the Bus is an annual food drive on behalf of St. Vincent de Paul and the Salvation Army.

Two fundraising barbecues will also be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Metro Northgate and the Real Canadian Superstore.

Following are the bus routes, with each stop lasting 40 to 60 minutes.

ROUTE 1, BUS 1

9 a.m. - Bright’s Grove Foodland

10:30 a.m. - Walmart

11:30 a.m. – Sarnia No Frills

12:30 p.m. – Ken’s Valumart

1:30 – Northgate Metro, Giant Tiger

ROUTE 2, BUS 2

9 a.m. - Corunna No Frills

10 a.m. - Corunna Foodland

11:05 a.m. – Food Basics

12 p.m. - RC Superstore

1 p.m. - Giant Tiger

1:50 - Metro London Road
