Vicky Ducharme will chair this year’s United Way of Sarnia-Lambton campaign.
Ducharme, the recently retired executive director of the Sarnia Lambton Workforce Development Board, has extensive work experience in the Chemical Valley and currently chairs the Enbridge Famous 5 Speaker Series.
Executive director Dave Brown said this year’s fundraising will benefit from Ducharme’s ability to rally people and corporations around a cause.
“We are incredibly grateful that Vicky has volunteered,” he said.
Last year, the United Way raised $2,008,000 to support more 35 programs and services. The 2017 target will be set this summer.
