The group of four stood on the overpass for about an hour "to thank the drivers that make sure we have food on our shelves," said Evans, who was joined city Coun. Margaret Bird, right, and Shirley Davidson, not visible. "(Drivers) don't get the acknowledgment they deserve," said Evans.
