Sting hire new general manager from within

Published on

The Sarnia Sting have a new general manager.

Dylan Seca, the hockey team’s director of player personnel, has been promoted to the top job.

“Having been a part of the hockey operations staff for the last five years I feel we have a team that is ready to make some serious progress in the near future,” he said last week.

Seca (pronounced Seek-ah) replaces Nick Sinclair who announced his resignation April 18.

Seca played 124 games in the OHL between 1993 and 1996, suiting up with the Detroit Junior Red Wings, Niagara Falls Thunder and the Kitchener Rangers.

He was the Ottawa 67’s director of player development from 2011 to 2014.
