Sting add a coach

Published on

Jeff Barratt has been named an assistant coach with the Sarnia Sting.

The 53-year-old Montreal-area native played in the QMJHL in the late ‘70’s and early ‘80’s before embarking on a seven-year head coaching stint in France. For the past several years, he’s been involved with minor hockey south of the border.

For 2012-15, Barratt was an assistant coach with the Philadelphia-based Team Comcast Midget program with current Sting co-owner, governor and head coach Derian Hatcher.
