Hosted by Le centre culturel francophone Jolliet, the event features socializing, finger foods and a cash bar, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a ceremony at 7 p.m.
Donations accepted at the door will be donated to Prevost to help her prepare for the next CrossFit games.
The Saint-François-Xavier School grad finished first among Canadians at the CrossFit Games in Madison, Wisconsin, and placed #13 overall in the world.
Prevost, a Toronto high school teacher, has won 11 national championships in four different sports: hockey, taekwondo, soccer, and ball hockey.
The ceremony at the Centre Communautaire Francophone de Sarnia, 901 The Rapids Pkwy, will be in French and English.
