A King George VI student got crafty for a good cause this Christmas.

Carly Unsworth, 12, sold more than 130 paper snowflakes at $2 each to raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society.

“It takes six pieces of paper, 24 pieces of tape and I have to do 18 cuts… and then seven staples,” she explained.

Unsworth intends to resume the initiative next year.
