Parents are reminded they must report their child’s immunization record to Lambton Public Health or risk a school suspension.
All Ontario students, unless they are legally exempt, must be immunized or in the process of being immunized to attend school. And parents are directly responsible for reporting those shots to ensure their records are up to date.
“Each year, many students end up being suspended but actually have up-to-date immunizations,” said Erin Courtney, supervisor of health protection.
