Sarnia’s annual organ music series returns next week

Lovers of organ music can enjoy some of this area’s finest when Sarnia’s 10 th annual Lenten Organ Series returns Thursday, March 7 to Central United Church.

Lovers of organ music can enjoy some of this area’s finest when Sarnia’s 10th annual Lenten Organ Series returns Thursday, March 7 to Central United Church.

The weekly series features free, half-hour concerts organized by church organist Robert Towers. They begin Thursdays at 12 noon and run for six straight weeks at the historic downtown church, 220 George St.

All are welcome. A donation is appreciated.

MARCH 14- Wayne Carroll, organist emeritus, Knox Presbyterian Church, St. Thomas.

MARCH 21 - Gerald Vreman, Centre St. Baptist Church, St. Thomas.

MARCH 28 - David Troiano, St. Clare of Montefalco, Gross Pointe Park, Michigan.

APRIL 4 - Foster Hill, St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Sarnia.

APRIL 11 – Terry Hill on organ and Ken Baldwin on trumpet from First St. Andrew’s United, London.
