The city of Sarnia is featured in an episode of PowerBoat Television being rebroadcast April 16 at 11 a.m. on Global TV.
The show was shot last August during the International Offshore Powerboat Festival, when host Steven Bull took a look at the boat races and participated in the inaugural poker fun-run.
Planning is already underway for this year’s powerboat races, which are scheduled to take place in Sarnia and Port Huron Aug. 12 to 14.
The free festival associated with the races attracts as many as 30,000 people to the city’s waterfront and another 10,000 in Port Huron.
