UPDATE: Police intensify search for missing man

Journal staff The Sarnia Police Service says it has 'intensified' the search for a 75-year-old man who went missing in the city's south end, Thursday evening.

"Anthony 'Tony' Robertson is a vulnerable person, which has led the Sarnia Police to expand their search," a news release noted, early Friday.

Police were contacted by family late Thursday with concerns for his well-being; he was last in contact with family around 6:30 p.m. and was believed to be wandering in Sarnia's downtown area.

Robertson is described as being 5’8” to 5’9” in height, and was last seen wearing a blue plaid “lumber jacket” with black jeans and black shoes. He has grey hair, a grey beard and brown eyes. 

Robertson will respond to being addressed as “Tony.”
