It’s perogie time

Published on

Hedy Krasinkiewicz, centre, fires circles of dough through the air to a waiting team of perogie-makers at Queen of Peace Church, with Kay Robor, left, and Isabella Czainski looking on.

A 56-year-old tradition returns Nov. 1 when the Queen of Peace Bazaar is held at the Polish Community Hall, featuring perogies, cabbage rolls, sauerkraut and paczkis, from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon.

Proceeds support church missions and local charities.
