Peacefully, in the presence of his loving family on Sunday, April 21, 2024, Joe Cabral passed away at the age of 64. Dear husband of Maria Elizabeth for 40 years. Proud and loving father to Stephanie and cherished grandfather of Adriana. Survived by his mother Maria Cabral, his sister Virginia Sinaguglia and the late Pat, her family Michael, Victoria, Elizabeth, Tyler, and Brooks. Fondly remembered by his brother-in-law Marco Arnoldi and Stephanie Edwards. Special nephew to John Cordeiro and his wife Tiberia of Sarnia. Also survived by many extended family in Sarnia and London, Ontario. Predeceased by his father Miguel Cabral. Joe came to Canada as a young boy from Sao Miguel, Azores. After completing his education he enjoyed a dedicated career with Imperial Oil and Royal Polymers Co. as a mechanical worker and process operator. Joe was a committed family man and a good friend. The family wishes to thank the staff at Bluewater Health, emergency responders, and Dr. P. O’Sullivan for their exceptional care. Family and friends will be received at Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia, on Sunday, April 28, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. A private family service will take place followed by entombment at Resurrection Cemetery.
