On Monday, April 15, 2024, at home on his Wyoming Farm, Robert Lester Anderson, passed away at the age of 74. He leaves behind his siblings Leonard (Sheila) Anderson and Sharon (Eric) Campbell and his nieces and nephews, Brenda (Sean) Bell, Jennifer (Jamie) Hill, Emily Anderson, Matthew (Betsy) Campbell, Julia (Paul) Steeves, and Ethan (Rachel) Campbell. Predeceased by his parents Ivin and Elizabeth Anderson and his niece, Kimberly McGuire.
Bob loved his heavenly Father, and the life he was given as a farmer. In his earlier days, Bob was an avid sportsman, from baseball and hunting, to golf. He also worked as a boilermaker, welder, truck driver and a crane operator. Spending time with his family was a big priority for Bob. He enjoyed teasing the little ones and telling lots of stories. Working with the youth at his church and serving as a deacon for a number of years was his way of giving back to his community. He loved to drive the tractor, the combine, anything he could, and especially loved cutting the grass at home and at the church. Bob bred and raised beagles and he will be missed by his special chosen pal, Buddy.

Visitors will be received by the family on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. from the Wyoming Chapel of Needham-Jay Funeral Home, 650 Broadway St. Wyoming, where a funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Wyoming Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made by cheque to Wyoming Baptist Church (https://www.wyomingbaptist.com/).
