Another 65 lots are ready for new home construction to begin in Corunna’s Paddock Green subdivision.
The homes, priced in the $400,000 range, will be going up on Lexington Boulevard, Winners Circle, Tim Tam Court and Bridle Court, said Rick Stewart, an agent with Royal LePage.
“There’s nothing in Sarnia so people are gravitating out here. We have a hard time just getting any models built and completed,” he said, noting two lots sold immediately.
With Sir John Moore and St. Joseph’s schools nearby, the expected market is young families, Stewart said.
“I’m getting people coming from Kitchener, Cambridge, Waterloo area.”
Construction is expected to begin by the end of April.
Another 40 lots are planned when this phase is complete.
