New grants available for environmental projects

Lambton Wildlife has started a Habitat Fund to support the conservation and protection of Sarnia-Lambton’s natural environment.

Lambton Wildlife has started a Habitat Fund to support the conservation and protection of Sarnia-Lambton’s natural environment.

Community groups and organizations, schools, conservation authorities, and Indigenous groups are invited to submit applications for funds to support initiatives.

Eligible projects might include pollinator gardens, natural playgrounds, buying conservation lands and greening schoolyards.

A total of $10,000 is available this year, with awards of up to $5,000 per project. Deadline for applications is April 1.
