Bluewater Power’s distribution business has received Ontario Energy Board approval to decrease the local electricity distribution rates on May 1.
The approval, which affects the “Delivery” line on the bill, will result in a 1% decrease for typical residential and general service customers, the company said.
The Ontario Energy Board will release new commodity rates for electricity in the next few weeks that will also impact the overall bills for Ontario customers starting May 1.
