Van Reenen, a volunteer firefighter with the Point Edward Fire Service, and his Lambton team will be competing closer to home this weekend at the Western Ontario FireFit Challenge in Point Edward.

The competition takes place Waterfront Park in the parking lot off Livingston Street, beginning 11 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
