Five local kickboxers representing Team Supreme and training out of the Bluewater Boxing Club had excellent performances at the Prospect Fighting Championships’ showdown in London on Sept. 23-24.

In the main bout, Sean Meade won a come-from-behind unanimous decision over a more experienced striker.

Cody Chovancek cruised to a unanimous decision win, heavyweight Marcello Solinas won a third round knockout, Patrick MacInnis won a minority decision over an undefeated Muay Thai practitioner, and Craig Macdonald came away with a contentious split draw.

The kickboxers were trained by Andrew Elliot (Team Supreme) and Wade Fleming (Bluewater Boxing) for the mixed marshal arts event, which was a fundraiser to fight kidney disease.
