Limited public skating has successfully returned to the Progressive Auto Sales Arena, Rink 2.
A maximum of 25 skaters are allowed on the ice per session until Dec. 18.
Participants must pre-register online at Active Communities Sarnia or by calling 519-332-0330, ext. 3214.
Public skating is offered Fridays 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.; family skating Fridays 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.; parent-tot skating Tuesdays and Thursdays 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.; and adult skating Tuesdays and Thursdays noon to 1 p.m., or 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. (one time slot only).
Masks are required indoors, but not on the ice.
Gate #1 will open 20 minutes before and be locked again five minutes prior to start, with no spectators allowed.
If the pilot runs smoothly another program will resume in January, City Hall said.
