Noah Leonard of Corunna has won a gold medal at the Ontario Provincial Music Festival in Niagara Falls.
The 13-year-old, who defeated 52 other finalists to claim the top award in musical theatre, was one of 10 winners from the Lambton County Music Festival who had advanced to provincials.
Two others earned honourable mentions: Alex Jackson in piano and Shayanne deBoer for voice.
The Lambton attendees were Hannah Colquhoun, Elle Ferguson, Josh Gibson, Joshua Gomez, Richard Li, Dana Parco, and Claire Stewardson.
