Lambton College to host annual Pow Wow, Thursday

The Lambton College Indigenous Student Council and Indigenous Student Centre will host their 28th Annual Pow Wow, Thursday April 6, in the College’s Cestar Group Athletics & Fitness Complex.

The yearly celebration of life will feature dancers in full regalia, traditional arts and crafts, drumming and singing, the college said in a news release.

Doors open to the public at 10 a.m. with the grand entry at 11 a.m.

The festivities will continue until 3 p.m.

The event will also feature information booths, traditional food, intertribal songs, arts and craft vendors, and prizes for audience participation. 

Admission to the Pow Wow is free and the public is welcome to attend.
