Colleges And Institutes Canada has once again recognized Lambton College for its research excellence.
Lambton won the Gold Applied Research and Innovation Excellence Award after taking on more than 200 projects in the 2020-21 fiscal year and hiring 260 research students and 82 research graduates.
The college also won a Bronze Award in program excellence for its Aamjiwnaang Personal Support Worker (PSW) program. The program provides Indigenous learners with an opportunity to earn PSW certificate in a culturally safe and respectful environment.
It has produced 13 graduates, addressing a need for PSWs while providing care that respects Indigenous culture.
