The Sarnia Ice Hawks sledge hockey team has completed another successful season, finishing second place in their division and third in the province in the Ontario Sledge Hockey Association standings with a record of 7-3, losing to Kawartha in the first round of the playoffs.
It’s the first time in three seasons Sarnia has not advanced to the provincial final, having won gold and silver the past two years.
“We pretty proud of our play,” said team spokesperson Ron Rivait. “We just fell a little bit short.”
