The St. Patrick’s Fighting Irish head into the holiday break in first place in the north division of the Lambton Kent Boys High School Hockey League.
The Irish improved to 3-0-1 with a 4-0 win over SCITS last week.
Matt Sawatzky led St. Pat's with a goal and two assists, while Lucas Knowles and Noah Tardif added others. Ryan Greenaway chipped in with two assists.
Jacob Knowles and Bailey Reindeers shared the shutout for the Irish, which open the New Year with a game against archrival Northern on Jan. 6 at the Clearwater Arena. Game time is 3 pm.
