Downtown walking tours return

Published on

City Hall and the Sarnia Heritage Committee are again teaming up on a series of guided historical walking tours.

Stories told on the 75-minute walk will highlight places in the downtown known for their ghosts, crimes, business dealings and allure to tourists during the jazz age.

Guided tours will be held Aug. 1, 9, 14, and 21. Participants should gather at the City Hall fountain at 6:30 p.m.

The popular tours were first offered last year. They are free but a $5 donation is suggested to support conservation of Sarnia’s built heritage. Donors also received a copy of the Sarnia Heritage Passport.
