Ontario has given local officials $248,000 to find and create jobs in the “creative” sector.

Ontario has given local officials $248,000 to find and create jobs in the “creative” sector.

The Sarnia-Lambton Economic Partnership said it will use the money over the next 18 months to identify the potential for job creation and skills training using “social enterprise” as the model for new businesses.

In described creative industries as engineering, information technology, performing arts, graphic design and content creation.
