City schools shine at track meet

Sarnia’s Northern Collegiate was the overall team champion at LKSSAA track and field championships, which features schools from Sarnia-Lambton and Chatham-Kent.

Sarnia’s Northern Collegiate was the overall team champion at LKSSAA track and field championships, which features schools from Sarnia-Lambton and Chatham-Kent.

Northern won four of six divisions at the May 12-13 meet held at Chatham-Kent Secondary School.

Sarnia’s St. Patrick’s High School also won one of the six divisions, claiming the junior boys crown.

The top eight finishers in each event advanced to the Southwestern Ontario meet, which was set to go May 20 in Chatham and May 21 in Windsor.
