City Hall is looking for input from residents on a new Community Improvement Plan, or CIP.

The plan is designed to encourages investment and achieve various objectives, such as more affordable housing, neighbourhood and downtown revitalization, and improvements in public space improvements, the city said.

The updated plan will focus on three key commercial areas: the Downtown, Mitton Village and Northgate.

To learn more and register for a one-on-one discussion with a member of the project team, scheduled for July 7, visit www.speakupsarnia.ca

The CIP process involves public consultation events, a review of best practices in Ontario, and development of an incentive program and design guidelines, the city said.
