Sarnia councillors and staff won’t be gathering for in-person council meetings any time soon.
And when in-person meetings at City Hall do resume, possibly in January, ‘hybrid’ meetings will allow councillors, staff and citizens who wish to to participate via Zoom.
City council voted last month to require proof of COVID-19 vaccinations to attend in-person and committee meetings.
Lambton County followed suit last week. As of Oct. 31, county councillors will be required to show proof of vaccination or a negative test to attend in-person county meetings or visit county facilities.
