Vehicle parking is no longer allowed anyone on Lakeshore Road between Murphy and Telfer roads.
The stretch of Lakeshore from Modeland to Telfer was reconstructed over the past two years to include wider paved shoulders to encourage walking and cycling.
Council made the move after City Hall received complaints of vehicles parking on the shoulder and forcing pedestrians onto the road.
Parking was already banned on Lakeshore between Murphy and Modeland for the same reason.
Homeowners in the area have been notified and signs will be posted along Lakeshore.
