Christmas organ music series returns to historic church

Lovers of organ music can enjoy some of this area’s finest when the 11^th annual Advent Organ Series returns Nov. 28 to historic Central United Church, 220 George St.

The weekly series features free, half-hour concerts beginning at 12 noon. All are welcome; a freewill offering is appreciated.

This could be the final chance to hear the region’s largest pipe organ. With the church slated to close in 2020 the fate of its 121-year-old Casavant organ is still unknown.
