Children removed from “filthy” house

Published on

Two children, age 12 and 16, were turned over the Children’s Aid Society after Sarnia police found them living in a filthy house containing drugs and weapons.

“Officers found garbage, animal feces and massive amounts of animal hair” in their bedroom, police said in a release.

A man, 46, and a woman, 44, were arrested June 12 in the 800 block of Devine Street and taken into custody on drug charges.

Police seized hydromorphone pills, a Taser stun gun and a replica handgun.
