Point Edward is holding its 2018 Canada day celebration in Waterfront Park on Thursday, June 28.
The event, which coincides with the weekly Moonlight Farmer’s Market, runs from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and includes a Ferris wheel, Super Obstacle Course Slide and a giant bouncy castle.
The festivities are free to everyone and include live musical entertainment, face painting and the grand opening of the new village Splash Pad.
The formal part of the evening begins at 5:30 p.m. and pizza will be served around 6:30 p.m.
Point Edward is celebrating its 140th anniversary, an achievement that is also being commemorated at the event.
