Campaign reaches goal

Published on

Dan Edwards and his ‘Do It For Sarnia’ campaign have reached their fundraising goal of $150,000.

Edwards started the campaign in 2016 to thank the community for support received following an accident that left him paralyzed from the neck down.

The money will support mental health and addiction services at Bluewater Health.

The money came from countless community donations, fundraisers and four “Block Parties,” including last month’s event featuring The Trews.

Edwards is working closely with staff to determine how the funds can best be used, the Bluewater Health Foundation said.
