Lexi McCormack of the Bluewater Gymnastics Club helped Team Ontario edge out Quebec to win the team gold medal at the Eastern Canadian Championship on May 7.
The 16-year-old athlete also claimed a silver medal on bars and placed 6th on both the beam and in the all-around.
The meet, held in Quebec City, was an amazing experience for McCormack and the club, said coach Elizabeth Brubaker.
Later this month gymnasts will represent Bluewater at Canadian Championships, as well as the Level 3-5 provincial championships.
