The operator of the Blue Water Bridge has launched a new automated frequent traveller program that reduces toll charges.

ConneXion is aimed at non-commercial travellers who make regular crossings at the bridge from Canada to the U.S., the Federal Bridge Corporation Limited says.

The program allows customers to open a prepaid toll payment account, make payments using their credit card, and have crossings facilitated by a radio-frequency identification device mounted in the vehicle.
