Bill Weber acclaimed warden of Lambton County

Lambton Shores Mayor Bill Weber will serve a second consecutive term as warden of Lambton County after being acclaimed by his peers last week. The retired dairy farmer is the 158th warden, who serves as the head of county council.

"The County of Lambton has a proud tradition of respect and collaboration with all levels of government, and it is my sincerest desire to advance that reputation over the next two years," he said.

Weber has served in various municipal government roles since 1986 including three terms as mayor of Lambton Shores.

He has been married to wife Ginger for 44 years and together they have three children and five grandchildren.

Enniskillen Township Mayor Kevin Marriott was elected deputy warden.

Marriott has served on Enniskillen Township council for 24 years, including seven years as deputy mayor and the past seven as mayor.
