It took six hours to carefully haul this 325,000-pound natural gas boiler from Sarnia Harbour to Nova Chemicals’ Corunna site on Dec. 18.
Moving the massive unit, which will increase reliability and support plant operations, required a special flatbed trailer with 12 axels and 94 tires, said company spokesperson Meaghan Kreeft.
