The Bluewater Wind Ensemble presents ‘Folk Songs and Marches from Around the World,’ a concert at the Sarnia Library Theatre this Thursday.

The group, an organization of advanced local musicians, was formed in the summer of 2021, "in the middle of a world pandemic, nonetheless," the group notes, "to meet the needs of advanced-level musicians in the Sarnia-Lambton community to practice their craft through the exploration of new and exciting music." Members began meeting outdoors at a local park for the first few months, before being cleared to move rehearsals indoors. "Not to be deterred, our successful inaugural concert was held in June 2022 and we are excitedly looking forward to our next four concerts planned for the 2022-2023 season."
