Film

CineSarnia will be showing Phantom of the Open at the Sarnia Public Library Theatre at 7:30 pm. Advance tickets are available at cinesarnia.com and rush tickets are available for $12 at the door 15 minutes before the film screens. More information and season passes are available at cinesarnia.com.

Fall Prevention

The Twin Bridges Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic hosts "Standing Tall" a four-week fall prevention series held Mondays, beginning Nov. 7 through to Nov. 28, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Includes standing-based exercises to improve strength, alignment and stability. Please register at www.tbnplc.com.

Rehab Series

The Twin Bridges Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic hosts “Frozen Shoulder" a four-week rehab series held Tuesdays, beginning Nov. 8 through to Nov. 29, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Therapeutic group exercises focused on increasing shoulder range of motion and strength. Please register at www.tbnplc.com.

Kiwanis Meeting - Valour Remembered

The public is invited to attend a meeting in honour of Remembrance Day with the Kiwanis Club of Sarnia-Lambton Golden K. Local writers and historians Tom Slater and Tom St. Amand will share interesting research on local men and women who served in Canada’s wars. “Hybrid” meetings (in person or by Zoom) take place at 9:30 a.m. at the Lochiel Kiwanis Community Centre, 180 College Ave. N. Free Screening

The Sarnia Library Theatre is hosting a free screening of “1917” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. “At the height of World War One, two soldiers are tasked with crossing into enemy territory to deliver a message that could potentially save 1,600 of their comrades. In a race against time, they must achieve this seemingly impossible task before disaster strikes.” This movie has a run time of two hours and is rated 14A (violence, language, smoking). Local Stories from WWI & WWII

Port Lambton Library is hosting “Lambton Remembers” from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Learn about the local men and women of St. Clair Township who served in the World Wars and what was happening on the home front to support the war effort. This will be a presentation featuring first and secondhand sources and a question and answer period. Space is limited and registration is required. Lapidary Workshop

The Sarnia Rock & Fossil Club meets at 7:30 pm every second Friday of the month (Sept.-June) at New Horizons Community Church, 383 Russell St. N.
