Kiwanis Meeting – Valour Remembered

The public is invited to attend a meeting in honour of Remembrance Day with the Kiwanis Club of Sarnia-Lambton Golden K. Gallery in the Grove

Gallery in the Grove’s annual Gifts of the Season continues until Dec. 17. This is a curated event showcasing 16 local artists with a wide range of beautifully handmade pieces. Free Screening

The Sarnia Library Theatre is hosting a free screening of “1917” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. “At the height of World War One, two soldiers are tasked with crossing into enemy territory to deliver a message that could potentially save 1,600 of their comrades. In a race against time, they must achieve this seemingly impossible task before disaster strikes.” This movie has a run time of two hours and is rated 14A (violence, language, smoking). Local Stories from WWI & WWII

Port Lambton Library is hosting “Lambton Remembers” from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Learn about the local men and women of St. Clair Township who served in the World Wars and what was happening on the home front to support the war effort. Lapidary Workshop

The Sarnia Rock & Fossil Club meets at 7:30 pm every second Friday of the month (Sept.-June) at New Horizons Community Church, 383 Russell St. N.
