Mike Weir makes his return to the U.S. Open next month. The Bright’s Grove golfer earned an invite to the Pebble Beach, Calif. event after placing fifth at a qualifying event last week. Weir, who’s been plagued by wrist and elbow injuries since 2011, hasn’t made an appearance at the Open since 2013. The U.S. Open is scheduled for June 13-16.
