Another resident of Vision Nursing Home has been taken by COVID-19, Lambton Public Health said this morning.
It’s the home’s 10th resident to die of the virus.
In addition, another staff member has tested positive.
Twenty-six staff and 26 residents of the Wellington Street long-term care home been infected since the pandemic began. The latest victim died at Bluewater Health.
Beyond Vision, the hardest hit and only senior home in Sarnia-Lambton still battling an outbreak, no other new cases or deaths were reported in Sarnia-Lambton.
Overall, the county has had 268 COVID-19 cases and 25 deaths.
