The senior boys of Great Lakes Secondary and junior boys of Northern Collegiate each won a LKSSAA basketball title this year.
Wolfpack forward Hayden Scott scored 11 points in a 54-49 upset win over LCCVI to clinch the senior boy’s AA championship on Feb. 19. Great Lakes finished the Lambton-Kent regular season 5-5 and in second place behind LCCVI.
The Northern junior boys team defeated Ursuline College of Chatham 68-47 to win the AAA title.
Northern’s senior boys, however, lost their bid, falling 71-59 to Ursuline in the final.
