A great day to be kid is coming up on July 8.
The Kiwanis Kids Free Day at the Farm is packing six hours of free food, fun and frivolity, organized by the Seaway Kiwanis and supported by a host of local sponsors.
The day includes activities on the BMX track, a tent full of electronic games and four large inflatables, including a climber, as well as numerous animals and displays around the Children’s Animal Farm in Canatara Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Free hot dogs, drinks, ice cream and cookies will be available, with music provided by Ponyboy and the Borderline Band.
Three school buses will run a continuous shuttle to the Farm with stops at High Park School, Food Basics, P.E. McGibbon School and Tecumseh Park.
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
